Troubleshooting Tool for Web Applications

Session Title: Troubleshooting Tool for Web Applications

Time & Date: 12:40 P.M. – 1:55 P.M., Wednesday, June 17, 2009

Location: Student Union Building (SUB) Partyroom

Session Description: A showcase of a tool that assists help desk staff in trouble-shooting problems that users may have with accessing web applications such as Blackboard Vista and provides short custom videos to help users make their computers compatible with the application they want to use. Often times, help desk staff will need to know users’ computer configurations and asking them to supply the information may be inconvenient and time consuming. Our online tool provides a system diagnostic of users’ computers and automatically submits the report to their local help desk.
