Building Your Learning Network

Session Title: Building Your Learning Network

Time & Date: 9:00 A.M. – 10:35 A.M., Friday, June 19, 2009

Location: Rm. 302, Dodson Room, Irving K. Barber Learning Centre (IKBLC)

Session Description: Do you ‘tweet’ with your friends, post to your blog, subscribe to information using RSS feeds and tag your ‘finds’ with del.icio.us?

We’ve all heard about these new approaches to connecting with others and sharing information but, for many of us, these technologies seem a bit daunting, particularly when we’re not sure whether they’ll be useful or not.

Come and find out what many of your students are doing already.  Don’t get left behind.  See how you can get started using these social-networking technologies and then learn how to make them relevant to your day-to-day work environment by building your personal learning network.

Conference Stream: Extending the CMS
