Discover, discuss and learn how blogs, wikis, RSS and a growing number of new technologies are expanding opportunities for collaboration and communication between instructors and students. Attendees will also be given valuable information highlighting best practices and community resources. If you are curious about emerging technologies, then this workshop will provide you with the information you need to make good decisions.

Co-Presenter Bio: Emily Renoe works at UBC’s Office of Learning Technology, as a Learning Technologies Specialist. She supports, trains, and guides faculty in the uses of WebCT Vista as well as other emerging technologies. She has worked in the IT field for over 10 years.

Co-Presenter: Catherine Paul

Co-Presenter Bio: Catherine Paul (MA – History, BEd) is a Community of Practice Facilitator with the Office of Learning Technology, at UBC, where she combines her passion for people with 10 years of experience working with Learning Technologies.
